Recreation as a Social Factor in Urban Development: A Response to Covid-19 Pandemic in Greater Jos, Nigeria

The importance of recreation cannot be overemphasised. Recreation refers to an activity that people engage in during their free time, and it is socially-inclined has attendant values. Inaccessibility recreational areas affects the social wellbeing residents, who will not have a sense belonging when comes community development, hence response Covid-19. Taking Greater Jos (Nigeria) as case study, this paper assesses factors with regard provision facilities. study also identified mapped out using geographical positioning system. A questionnaire survey was conducted amongst age fifteen above authentically gauge opinions on and, adopting stratified-random sampling considering ten sectors according Master Plan.
